Each custom crafted ring is unique; no two are exactly alike. Wood selection and preferences are a personal choice and every effort is made to accommodate it.
Durable
All woods used are stabilized. Stabilized wood will not shrink or crack due to humidity changes or drying. Coupled with the hard, resilient clear coats applied during the finishing process, the ring is highly water resistant. The ring core is titanium metal. It is very strong, light-weight and bio-compatible.

Type Of Woods Used
A variety of woods are used. The most popular being burls of Maple, Buckeye, Redwood, and Box Elder, and Spalted Maple and Spalted Tamarind. Less common varieties include Koa, Zebrawood, Bocote, Desert Ironwood, Cocobolo, Wenge and Olive Wood. Maple, Buckeye and Box Elder burls are typically well suited to color infusion
Color
Color infusion provides stunning effects, enhancing the ring’s appeal without diminishing the natural beauty of the wood grain and figure. Typically, the color penetrates the entirety of the wood fibers not just the surface like wood stains do. Only the very tightest grain may resist color infusion.
Stabilized Wood
Wood naturally expands and contracts with temperature and humidity changes in the surrounding environment, and can shrink and crack from drying out. For these reasons, all our woods are stabilized, with the exception of the more exotic species which naturally resist shrinking and cracking due to their oil content. Stabilized wood will not shrink or crack due to humidity changes or drying.
Water Resistant
The stabilized wood coupled with the hard, resilient clear coats applied during the finishing process, makes the ring highly water resistant, not waterproof. If the ring gets wet, dry it off immediately.

Woods
- Each custom crafted ring is unique; no two are exactly alike, even if the wood used is from the same block.
- The grain pattern, figure and color will vary around the circumference of the ring. That’s the beauty and the nature of wood.
- All woods used are stabilized. Stabilized wood will not shrink or crack due to humidity changes or drying. Coupled with the hard, resilient clear coats applied during the finishing process, the ring is highly water resistant, not waterproof. If the ring gets wet, dry it off immediately.
Rings
- How well the ring holds up over time is directly dependent on how well it is treated.
- The ring core is titanium metal. It is very strong, light-weight and bio-compatible. The interior is slightly rounded for a “comfort fit”, meaning the tightest fit (actual ring size) is centered on the ring.
Ring Size
- Ring sizes are 5 to 13 in 1/2-size increments (i.e. 5, 5-1/2, 6, 6-1/2)
- A ring size above 7-1/2 narrows the selection of available wood blocks because some blocks have a small cross-section.
- An accurate ring size is important. A jeweler can measure ring size. Weight fluctuations are a sizing factor. Take into account the knuckle. The dominant hand fingers are typically larger than the non-dominant hand fingers. Consider whether the hands swell in the course of a day.
- Ring widths are 8mm and 6mm.
- A ring width of 8mm is recommend to display the wood grain to best effect. Expect grain detail to diminish below an 8mm width; narrow rings display less visible wood.
